Tuition and Tuition Adjustment

Create an account to begin the FACTS Grant & Aid application. Fill out the FACTS application with your family's financial information. The process typically takes less than one hour to complete and is mobile-friendly—allowing you to start, pause, and return to your application at your convenience, from anywhere.

As part of the FACTS application, you will be asked to authorize the secure transfer of your prior year’s federal tax return directly from the IRS. This helps streamline the process and may eliminate the need to upload personal tax documents manually. However, you also have the option to upload your tax documents directly if you prefer. If your family files business tax returns, those documents must be uploaded separately. Detailed instructions for submitting all required materials are available within the FACTS system.

At the end of the FACTS application, there is a $45 submission fee. If you are applying for tuition adjustment at other schools that also use FACTS, you may share your application with them at no additional cost. Simply select those schools from the dropdown menu within the application.

You may receive an email from FACTS following your application submission. Please check this email for any missing information or documents. Families supporting two households must complete a FACTS Application for each household.

If your family is awarded a tuition adjustment, you’ll receive your award amount alongside your acceptance package.
This ensures you have all the information needed to make a confident enrollment decision. Returning families will see their tuition adjustment in their Enrollment Agreement, rather than through a separate notification.

At NDA, tuition includes all the key elements of your daughter's education, including:

• A MacBook computer for each student

• Participation in athletic teams

• Participation in co-curricular teams

• Participation in clubs

• Prom for juniors and seniors

• All graduation activities

• A yearbook for each student

• Junior Class Ring

• Senior Class Sweater

At NDA, we do not have a separate registration fee, technology fee, new student fee, payment plan fee, etc.

Your non-refundable deposit is the first tuition payment and is due at the time of enrollment.

Select fees can vary by students, such as books, uniforms, AP test fees, hot lunches, Conservatory classes, bus transportation to/from school, NSF fees, late fees, etc.

The South Bay bus runs between Redondo Beach and NDA campus, making stops in Redondo Beach, Manhattan Beach, El Segundo and Westchester.

Total annual cost varies each academic year. Rides are available in both directions, one-way, as well as individual rides.

Tuition Adjustments are made to over 60% of our student body.

Tuition Adjustments are made to a wide variety of family income levels based on the degree of family need as evaluated by the FACTS Grant and Aid system. Admissions decisions are made independently of the need for tuition assistance.

Tuition Adjustments are limited. Families who apply by the deadline will be prioritized for consideration. As these resources are finite, not all families who qualify may receive assistance. In some circumstances we may offer reduced grants to meet partial need.

Tuition Adjustments that are submitted after the deadline will be placed into a waiting category.

Tuition Adjustments must be applied for annually, but unless there is a substantial change in a family's financial situation, the awards should be consistent in future years.

Tuition can be paid annually, quarterly, or over 11 months.

Tuition can be paid by electronic check (ACH) or by credit/debit card (ACH and credit/debit card payments will include a service fee). NDA does not see your financial account used to pay tuition.

NDA recognizes high performers and leaders from elementary/middle schools with merit scholarship awards. There is no additional step aside from submitting your admissions application to be considered for merit scholarship. The Priority Admissions Application deadline for merit scholarship consideration, is December 12, 2025 (9th grade applicants only).

NDA offers four-year merit scholarships for 9th grade applicants. These scholarships are awarded based on various criteria, including HSPT scores, academic performance, and teacher recommendations. 

Each year, the number of merit scholarships available may vary depending on the size of the applicant pool. NDA ensures that these awards are given to the most qualified candidates. HSPT scores will need to be sent to NDA by February 1st.
