While you won’t always find Sister Gina Marie Blunck, SND, physically on the NDA campus, you should know her heart is always here. Not only is she an alumna of the high school, but she also spent 20 years as a staff member and principal. Since then, she has served as treasurer general for the Sisters of Notre Dame Generalate in Rome, Italy, where she developed the Congregational Fund to provide grants to address the needs of the poor and disadvantaged. She currently serves as executive director of the Conrad N. Hilton Fund for Sisters, the philanthropic organization that supports Catholic Sisters worldwide. In her few off hours, you’ll find Sr. Gina Marie reading (she recommends Becoming by Michelle Obama), walking on the beach, or rooting for USC Trojan football.
