Victor Sanchez discovered his love of education growing up in the inner city as a student at some of the most challenging schools in Los Angles. While earning his undergraduate degree at Cal State Northridge, he learned how to navigate the process of becoming a teacher and administrator. Now students at the 93 Street STEAM Academy, a Dual Language and Magnet Center, benefit from his more than 20 years of experience and his love of building community relations. In 2019, the LA Unified School District recognized his passion and named him elementary principal of the year. As an alum parent of NDAE, he devotes his time to continuing the legacy of the Sisters of Notre Dame. In all of his work, Mr. Sanchez strives to build strong, positive relationships among students, parents, faculty and community.
