Beyond the Classroom

Try new activities or pursue your passion at NDA!  From athletics to the arts, campus ministry to decathlon, rocketry to mock trial, there are offerings for everyone.  Most importantly, each provides an opportunity to cultivate leadership skills while building relationships with teachers and other students.

Student Leadership Mission

I affirm that I will consistently strive to execute my duties as a Notre Dame Academy student leader. Guided by Christ, I will be a positive example of servant leadership for all students to follow and foster Regal pride in our community. I pledge to maintain an inclusive environment that unites our NDA community through faith, empathy, creativity, service, and integrity.

Student Life

Rooted in our Catholic tradition, the Notre Dame Academy community highlights the cultural, economic, and geographic diversity of Los Angeles. In support of our distinctly diverse population, the Student Life Program at NDA partners with students, teachers, parents, and administrators to create an inclusive and intentional environment in which every aspect of the school experience is an opportunity for learning and personal growth. NDA’s holistic, integrated approach to education equips girls with the critical thinking, socio-emotional, and transformative leadership skills needed to excel beyond the Academy.

Student Life creates…
  • An atmosphere of Regal pride through organizations, activities, and traditions that encourage school spirit
  • An inclusive and supportive environment of kinship and sisterhood, where we stand together as one
  • A community of interculturalism that fosters an appreciation of one another
  • Well rounded individuals who cultivate the life skills necessary for balance and resilience
  • Confident leaders who discover their voice and actively pursue their potential
  • Responsible advocates who promote social action, in both the NDA community and society at large
  • An environment of mutual respect through the NDA Honor Code, which promotes integrity, safety and security, and love and acceptance for all students
